Enerspace is where the inspired and passionate come to do their work. Our members include entrepreneurs, small business owners and freelancers and our tagline “Work Well” reflects our mission to give members a place and the tools they need to blend work and wellness.
Enerspace Coworking commitment to workspace + wellness
At Enerspace, we want to people achieve wellness goals while at work. We don’t believe the two need to be mutually exclusive. Our spaces have a variety of amenities and programs to support work and wellness.
A studio for morning yoga classes, afternoon sit-up sessions or a work-out with your trainer before heading home. We also have changing rooms and a spa-like shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer where you can store lunch or post-workout snacks. And for many of us, good, locally roasted coffee = wellness and we have plenty of that!
We also do standing desks and the world’s best upgrade to the yoga ball – the Buoy.
Productivity, interaction with other successful professionals and a gorgeous view are other wellness aspects you’ll fulfill here!
Proximity to the Baylands running and biking trail, showers, secure bike storage, a beautifully landscaped outdoor atrium, and lots of sunlight will keep your energy up.
Standing desks, an inspiration room and the beloved Nespresso machine will also help you work well.
Jamie’s background is a mix of start-ups, big 6 consulting and Fortune 500 companies, working in healthcare and consumer packaged goods. Her passion is helping people achieve wellbeing at work in order to do their best work. After growing a health services company that became focused on getting employees at large companies engaged in their health, she wanted to focus her efforts on creating work cultures from the ground up. Fortunately, this coincided with the growing ability for startups, business owners and mobile workers to self-select a work environment. She founded Enerspace Coworking. The Chicago space opened in February 2012 and the Palo Alto space in June 2013. She is looking to expand through joint venture opportunities in Chicago and Oakland.
Jamie is the current president of the League of Extraordinary Coworking spaces, an international network of 35+ boutique coworking spaces that fosters mobility among members and best-practice sharing among owners.
She also launched a podcast on coworking trends and how-tos on May 1 2015.
Jamie loves to talk and write about coworking, in particular, integrating wellness into work space design. She is available for speaking engagements and guest blogging.
