PaigeWhat neighborhood do you live in?
Lincoln Square — I can see the Western brown line from my office
Why did you join a coworking space?
I love working from home, for the most part — but sometimes my cats aren’t enough. I miss being around humans!
Who do you work for / What do you do?
I’m client services director for Landscape Leadership, a 100% distributed inbound marketing agency catering to landscape contractors and the green industry.
What do you do for fun?
I love to cook and really enjoy wine tasting (my husband is the beverage buyer for Pastoral Artisan Cheese, Bread & Wine, so it’s readily available to me).
What’s one thing about you we’d never learn just by catching up by the coffee bar?
My favorite “fun fact” about myself: My senior year of high school, I sang a solo that opened a Lenten Mass in St. Mark’s Cathedral in Venice, Italy. I think it’s safe to say it was the most exhilarating moment of my life.
What do you do to keep yourself balanced?
Working out is a huge part of maintaining balance. I was a Spinning instructor for a little over a year, and knowing I’d get fired from THAT job if I didn’t get my butt to the gym really helped me build some strong habits. I take a daily morning walk, and I still try to get to the gym 3-5 times a week.
How has your work/ business benefited from working at a coworking space?
I seem to have really productive days when working at a coworking space.
Do you have any recommendations or favorite place in Chicago?
Find me at the coffee bar or tweet me at @paigeworthy. I love too many things about Chicago (and have way too many opinions about places to go) to choose one to list here. (In a pinch: a glass of red wine and tomato bread with Spanish ham at Vera.)
